The King Rama II Foundation's Arts and Culture Projects

The Foundation, as suggested by HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn the Chairman, has initiated the Arts and Culture Project in dramatic musical and vocal arts with its goal to inherit the glory of arts and cultures from the reign of King Rama II , by using the King Rama II Commemorate Park as cultural restoring centre according to the correct standards.

The aim of the above mentioned Projects is to educate especially the young people in Samut Songkhram in order that they are equipped with knowledge and skill to perform the dramatic and musical arts as their occupation which will be advantageous to both themselves and the country in the future. The Foundation started the first special course in dramatic and musical arts in June 1990. The students were those of grade 6-10 selected from every school in Samut Songkhram province.
