Scholarship for Thai Arts Promotion and Conservation

          To comply with Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn ‘s concept that the Foundation should support more on public education, as the King Rama II Commemorate Park has been opened for public learning and recreation since 1985. The Foundation Committee, therefore, has offered a scholarship called “Thai Arts Promotion and Conservation” in order to create artists for performance on King Rama II Commemorate Day or any other royal occasions. The scholarship aims at training young artists in Samut Sungkhram so that, Thai arts and culture are will be maintained and cherished among young generation.

          The Foundation has requested the Fine Arts Department since 1989 to admit students from Samut Songkhram as special quota to study in the College of Dramatic Arts each year in three fields of studies. The scholarship is continually granted from 5,000 baht at the beginning level, 7,000 baht for middle level, and 10,000 baht for high level through Bachelor degree.
